Nobody has moaned so we might have got the results correct. The Final Results are now available on the right.
Clearly the level of ability in the trailbike class blasts the rest of us into the weeds with Nibbs needing a tie decider on the hard route to decide he was second and Sam dominating the standard route.
Darren looks to have got the severity spot on looking at the scores.
Heard at a section ends card: "wasted some money on that Gym subscription, puff, wheez. This does so much more!"
I've finally sussed why a few of you said about the wrong postcode on the regs. It appears you were actually looking at the ACU website event listing, not on our website at all (The 2 pages before the entry form were where you should have been looking for location, ie. the event's supplementary regulations). The ACU website's listing is produced from the permit application process and an assumption that landowners live at the venue automates a postcode. We'll flag up the potential for error to the powers that be. (Strange that it wasn't one of my mistakes!)
The grown ups thought they had it tough but most, if not all, of the Junior conducted riders were on day 2 of their riding weekend. They'd been to the Western Centre's Youth training camp session at Birdlip Quarry.
