Digression to Llyn Brenig 2013

T found a cheap deal at the West Arms in Dyffrn Ceiriog for the first weekend in April.
We took the bikes and headed to Llyn Brenig for a gentle day's riding.
It wasn't too cold, but was getting a bit damp by the time we got around, and we were a bit surprised at the size of the snow drifts that were still lying about - I don't think we properly appreciated how bad the previous few weeks had been in this area.
There's nothing particularly difficult here, a couple of hills, and the tracks are mostly gravelled, but a very pleasant couple of hours we had, lovely scenery, and the tea and cakes in the cafe are very good too!
